7th Petition: “But deliver us from evil”
Three good men lived very long ago — Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.
To an idol they would never bow — Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
To a fiery furnace they were therefore cast; Nebuchadnezzar thought they’d never last.
But God was there; He’d never let them go — Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
Use this craft to review the story of Daniel 3: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the Fiery Furnace!
- Multiple colors of paper, if you only have white you can color them to represent the fire
- Markers
- Scissors
- Glue
- Any size brown paper bag (lunch sack size, grocery bag size, just adjust the size of the other parts)

Stage 2: Cut an oval hole in the front of the bag, you do not need to cut through the back of the bag.
Stage 3: Cut out pieces of paper (either different colors or color them after), make the tops points in different heights to look like flames. You will need a few for in the front hole and for the top of the bag as well.

Step 4: Draw and cut out your Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego

Step 5: Glue some flames to the inside of your bag in the oval cut out on the front of the bag.
Step 6: Glue the rest of your flames to the inside of your bag at the top of the bag.
Step 7: Glue your Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to the front of your bag so that it looks like they are in the flames.
