Lord’s Prayer Booklet Craft

Keep the Lord’s Prayer close to you with this booklet craft!
 
What is needed:
  • Multiple sheets of paper (any color(s) that you have at home)
  • Markers
  • Scissors
  • Something to put a hole through the paper (i.e. hole punch, pin, etc)
  • Something to hold the paper together to make into a booklet (i.e. pipe cleaner, twist tie, etc)

Stage 1: Gather the needed supplies listed above.

Stage 2: Trace your hand onto the colored paper (each hand will be a page of your book, so make multiple and on different colors of paper).

Stage 3: Cut out each of the hands (pages) for the book.

Stage 4: Stack the hand cutouts and put a hole through them down by the bottom of the palm (have an adult help you with this step).

Stage 5: On the top hand / page, write “The Lord’s Prayer”

Stage 6: On the next pages write out the Lord’s Prayer – with the smaller hand prints it may take more pages.

Stage 7: Make sure that you have your pages in the correct order, then use your pipe cleaner, twist tie, etc. to put through the hole to hold your book together.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, Who art in heaven;

Hallowed be Thy name;

Thy kingdom come;

Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven;

Give us this day our daily bread;

And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who

trespass against us;

And lead us not into temptation;

but deliver us from evil;

for Thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory,

for ever and ever.
